Paris Saint-Germain are confident that Kylian Mbappe will not join Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool.

That is according to The Times, which has reported Mbappe’s stance on a potential move to the Premier League.

So, what has been reported about Paris Saint-Germain, Liverpool and Kylian Mbappe? Let’s take a look.

What Paris Saint-Germain feel about Liverpool and Kylian Mbappe

Well, Kylian Mbappe is out of contract at Paris Saint-Germain at the end of the season, and Real Madrid want him to sign a pre-contract with them, according to The Times.

Madrid want Mbappe to sign a pre-contract in January, but the France international forward does not want to do so and wants to take his time.

The Times has noted that the 25-year-old forward is open to joining a club in the Premier League as a free agent in the summer of 2024.

Arsenal have been linked, and so have Liverpool. The Times has reported that Mbappe held talks with the Reds before re-signing for PSG in 2022.

The report has added: “Although Mohamed Salah is the leading target for the Saudi Pro League champions Al-Ittihad, which would leave Liverpool in need of a replacement, PSG remain confident they will not lose Mbappé to the Anfield club.”

Reigning Ligue 1 champions PSG are still determined to keep Mbappe, who, according to France head coach Didier Deschamps, is “world-class”.

My View: Kylian Mbappe vs Erling Haaland in Premier League would be blockbuster

Just imagine if Liverpool signed Kylian Mbappe on a free transfer in the summer of 2024. Just imagine!

It would be a blockbuster move, and all eyes would be on the Premier League. Mbappe against Erling Haaland in the English top flight would be what Cristiano Ronaldo against Lionel Messi used to be in La Liga..

Mbappe and Haaland are two of the best strikers in the world, and the prospect of the two players trying to outdo each other in the Premier League on a weekly basis would be mouth-watering.
