Report: Arsenal's 'phenomenal' player is now actually fit for Liverpool despite being ruled out yesterday

Arsenal could be in line for a massive boost pre-Liverpool with the news that Oleksandr Zinchenko is actually fit to be involved.

Reports over the weekend had claimed Zinchenko would miss out on the clash with the Reds. It was first picked up on how he wasn’t involved in training, before claims yesterday suggested Zinchenko would indeed miss out on featuring against Jurgen Klopp’s side.

However, Football London have claimed this morning that Zinchenko was simply left out of training as a precaution and that the reality is that Zinchenko could very much be involved today. Whether or not that is from the start, remains to be seen.

But if Zinchenko is fit and ready to go, then it’s unlikely Mikel Arteta will drop him to the bench given how important he has been for his system this season. Indeed, the Ukrainian has been a shining light for the Gunners ever since arriving from Manchester City.

To beat Liverpool today, Arsenal need all their best players available and if Zinchenko is indeed fine, then this is a massive boost for the Gunners.

If this is right and Zinchenko is going to play then this will lift the entire mood inside the Emirates before a ball has even been kicked this afternoon.

He is so important to Arsenal that if he is fit to be on the bench, then he should be fit to start. Arteta will know what he’s doing but Arsenal fans will be so keen to see their new man feature.

This might also have been a bit of mind games from Arteta as well. Keeping your cards close to your chest is a skill in management and Arteta might have played a blinder here.
