Trent Kone-Doherty impressing at Liverpool
Well, the Liverpool academy is thriving right now.
Jurgen Klopp watched on proudly as the likes of Jayden Danns, James McConnell, Bobby Clark, Conor Bradley and Jarell Quansah helped Liverpool defeat Chelsea 1-0 in Sunday’s Carabao Cup final, in what was a special moment for the Reds.
However, there is another teenage talent catching the eye at Anfield who was not even on the bench at Wembley on Sunday.
The Daily Mail believe Kone-Doherty is set to become the next gem to emerge from Liverpool’s production line.

Kieran Morrison and Cody Pennington also got a mention.
Kone-Doherty has impressively scored 11 goals in 20 appearances this season, while also providing two assists.
Who is Trent Kone-Doherty?
Liverpool have already developed one Trent into a superstar in Trent Alexander-Arnold, and Kone-Doherty could be next.
The Republic of Ireland U19 international is a real livewire, who can operate on either wing.
As seen on Liverpool’s official website, the Derry-born wonderkid is described as a “tricky and exciting winger blessed with great pace”.

Kone-Doherty has made seven appearances on the left this season, and seven on the right.
Interestingly, eight of his 11 goals have come from the left flank – as shown by Transfermarkt.
Kone-Doherty was even called into senior training by Klopp back in October, so those at Anfield have been exposed to his talents for many months now.
