TalkSPORT pundit Scott Minto believes Liverpool have another ‘star’ coming through their ranks in James McConnell.
McConnell made his full Liverpool debut on Sunday as Jurgen Klopp’s side picked up a 4-2 win over Norwich City in the FA Cup.
The 19-year-old impressed in the middle of the park and grabbed an assist as he set up Curtis Jones for Liverpool’s opener.

Liverpool have a host of talented players coming through the ranks at the moment, including Jarrell Quansah, Bradley and McConnell.
Scott Minto was particularly impressed with McConnell’s latest display for the Reds and has told talkSPORT that the youngster has a bright future ahead of him at Anfield.

Speaking on talkSPORT’s Premier League All Access podcast, Minto lauded McConnell after an impressive display in the FA Cup on Sunday.
“What I would say is I was really impressed with James McConnell,” the pundit said.
“In the heart of midfield, at Anfield and for him to be bossing the game in the way that he did, there’s another star there.”

Liverpool remain in the Europa League and Klopp has handed youngsters plenty of opportunities to impress in the competition.
The midfielder has already made a couple of appearances from the bench in Europe this season but after Sunday’s showing, you’d imagine more minutes are just around the corner.
It’s exciting times for Liverpool when it comes to players coming through the academy set-up at the moment.
Bradley has made an instant impact at right-back while Quansah also looks set for a big future at Anfield. McConnell is just the latest Liverpool youngster to put in a promising display for the first-team.
