Liverpool forward Diogo Jota has now heralded the role that Mohamed Salah played in the victory against Brentford today.
Jota was speaking to Premier League Productions after the game and praised the consistent levels Salah always produces for Liverpool.

Speaking immediately after the game, Jota said: “He [Salah] is always there, is a goal threat, creates chances and is really important for us like everyone knows.
“Congratulations to him on his 200th goal.
“We are different players obviously and we try to do our best to help the team. That is what we want to keep doing.”
Although, it wasn’t just Liverpool’s forward line that contributed to the 3-0 scoreline.
Both Alisson and Virgil van Dijk gave reminders of why they are considered to be two of the world’s best.
And whilst Alisson is rarely questioned, van Dijk’s form is really silencing some of his doubters.
The Liverpool captain has often been labelled as past his best or lacking pace, but he’s now finding his best levels once more.
Jota thinks Salah’s consistency has been outstanding at Liverpool
After another home win, Liverpool do now sit second in the Premier League table heading into the international break.
Not bad going for a team rarely ever mentioned as part of the title race.

The Liverpool defender’s passing was hailed as ‘absolutely incredible’ by Leon Osman whilst covering the game.
Perhaps Wataru Endo was the only Liverpool player who may be slightly underwhelmed by their personal performance.
And although there’s no real need for a focus on the negatives, the defensive midfield spot does still present a conundrum.
Dean Saunders has recently aired his thoughts that Alexis Mac Allister doesn’t quite have all the attributes for the role either.
But Jurgen Klopp will surely be confident that his squad is well equipped.
And as long as £34m Salah and Jota are firing for Liverpool, the title race definitely has a familiar contender.
