There’s plenty to say about this Liverpool team.
The Reds are utterly fantastic and each and every player in the side has been incredible so far this season.
The usual suspects have been getting plenty of praise throughout this campaign. The likes of Mohamed Salah, Virgil van Dijk and Trent Alexander-Arnold haven’t been out of the headlines, but there are also a few unsung heroes in this side.
Speaking on Premier League Productions, Fara Williams has been discussing Liverpool’s recent showings, and she highlighted Curtis Jones for specific praise, claiming that he is a phenomenal talent even though he’s rarely spoken about.

Williams was full of praise for the midfielder.
“With or without Salah they just have the firepower going forwards, Diaz is another one, even Curtis Jones, he’s rarely spoken about, but he’s a phenomenal talent, they have bags of firepower going forwards,” Williams said.
Incredible
As strange as it sounds to say it, Williams is right, Jones often doesn’t get the credit he deserves.
There’s a lot of talk about England’s midfield options with the likes of Conor Gallagher, James Ward-Prowse and even Jordan Henderson all mentioned as options, but, for some reason, Jones hasn’t quite worked his way into these conversations yet.
The reality is that Jones has been one of the better players for the best team in England this season, and he probably does deserve more recognition in the wider footballing world.
Jones should be an England international very soon, and, in all honesty, he could well be a contender for the Young Player of the Year award if he continues in this way.
Jones has been utterly brilliant so far this season, and we’re excited to see what he can do for the remainder of this campaign.
