Liverpool are going to have a big summer.
The Reds are going to ring in the changes this summer as Jurgen Klopp leaves and a whole new recruitment team comes in.
There’s going to be a lot of change at Anfield, make no mistake about it, and one player whose future appears to be a bit up in the air is Mohamed Salah.
The Egyptian has been strongly linked with a move to Saudi Arabia for around 12 months now, while his touchline bust-up with Jurgen Klopp at the weekend only added fuel to that particular fire.
Speaking on his podcast, Eamon Dunphy has been discussing Salah’s future at Liverpool, and he reckons that the attacker could be on his way out of Anfield, not due to his attitude, but due to his age.

Dunphy spoke about Salah, theorising that he may be sold due to his age in the same way he believes Georgino Wijnaldum was a few years ago.
“He’s approaching 32 now and we know the owners at that club are very reluctant, they got rid of Wijnaldum when he was 30 because he was 30, they held the door open for Jordan Henderson and Fabinho, players who were veterans really in the eyes of these owners, so Mo now is probably gone,” Dunphy said.
Mohamed Salah is still brilliant
We understand Liverpool’s reluctance to hold onto ageing players for too long, but, at the same time, age is just a number in football these days.
It’s been almost 10 years since there was a Ballon d’Or winner under the age of 30, and, as the likes of Robert Lewandowski, Karim Benzema and Lionel Messi have shown in recent years, you can continue at such a high level well into your 30s.
It would be a rather rash decision if Liverpool were to let Salah go purely due to his age.
