Tony Cascarino has labelled Liverpool star Dominik Szoboszlai as one of the best players in the Premier League so far this season.
Speaking on talkSPORT, the pundit named Tottenham’s James Maddison as his Player of the Season so far. But feels Mohamed Salah and Dominik Szoboszlai aren’t far behind.
Szoboszlai has made quite the impact after making the switch to Anfield from RB Leipzig over the summer.
The 23-year-old has helped to transform Jurgen Klopp’s midfield, alongside several fellow summer signings.

And Tony Cascarino feels Szoboszlai should be in with a shout for the Player of the Season so far.
Cascarino lauds Szoboszlai’s early-season form
Speaking on talkSPORT, Cascarino named Maddison as his player of the season but feels Szoboszlai and Salah are ‘close’ behind the Tottenham star.
“Mo Salah would’ve been close,” he said. “Szoboszlai at Liverpool would’ve been close, he’s played really well.”

The former Leipzig man has been a real standout for the Reds this term and helped them to a near-flawless start.
You’d imagine that if he continues his brilliant run of form, he will be in with a shout for a big personal accolade at the end of the campaign.
Of course, that will largely depend on Liverpool’s success in the league and they sit just a point behind league leaders Manchester City at the moment.
It’s still early days in terms of Liverpool’s title hopes but they look like real contenders at this stage and Szoboszlai has been key to their early-season success.
