Liverpool are now turning their attentions to the Europa League after salvaging a point in their last Premier League match.
Jurgen Klopp’s Reds took the lead in Sunday’s trip to Manchester United, but the hosts went on to score an equaliser and then take the lead.
Mohamed Salah saved Liverpool in the 82nd minute by scoring from the penalty spot after Aaron Wan-Bissaka had fouled Harvey Elliott.
Despite the disappointing result, Liverpool remain in a good position in the Premier League title race, sitting just one point adrift of table-topping Arsenal.
Now, the Reds will look to make progress in another cup competition. Having already won the Carabao Cup, they’ll fancy their chances of going far in the Europa League too.
Who is back in Liverpool training ahead of Europa League meeting with Atalanta?
Liverpool have also been handed a boost ahead of Thursday’s quarter-final first-leg meeting with Atalanta at Anfield, in the shape of players returning to training.
Trent Alexander-Arnold, Diogo Jota, Alisson Becker and Stefan Bajcetic have all been pictured taking part in Tuesday’s session at the AXA Training Centre, as per the Evening Standard.

Bajcetic’s return to training is particularly good to see, as he has endured a long road back to recovery.
The 19-year-old has missed most of the season due to fitness issues reportedly linked to his growth.
Last week, Klopp revealed that Bajcetic was back in full training with the Under-21s, and was set to return to the first-team fold this week.
“He [Bajcetic] trains now fully with the U21s this week,” the Liverpool boss told the Reds media team ahead of the Sheffield United game.
“That means we will take him in training next week to us and then we will see. Another one coming and that’s super-important.”
Liverpool gem Stefan Bajcetic earns Xavi comparisons
Bajcetic is an “unbelievable” talent who enjoyed a rise to prominence for Liverpool last season, making 26 Reds appearances in all competitions.
Sadly, he has been on the sidelines for most of the season due to those unfortunate fitness issues, but hopefully they’re now firmly behind him.
Bajcetic is a player who Jamie O’Hara has compared to Barcelona and Spain legend Xavi, which is quite the badge of honour. So let’s hope he can now kick on and achieve his potential.
