Liverpool have done it again.
The Reds have found another young superstar from their seemingly never-ending conveyor belt of talented youth players in the shape of Conor Bradley.
The young right-back looks like a star in the making, and, as crazy as it sounds, he might now be pushing Trent Alexander-Arnold for a spot in the starting XI at Anfield.
Speaking on Liverpool’s Official YouTube channel, Phil Thompson has been discussing Bradley’s emergence in the starting XI at Liverpool, and he says that Jurgen Klopp now has a real problem on his hands in having to choose between Bradley and Alexander-Arnold.

Thompson shared his verdict on this situation.
“You know there’s been a lot of talk about Conor, would he start and will Trent now start in the midfield because he’s done that well. He’s given Jurgen a real problem if you want. Nobody is as good as Trent in doing what Trent does, but when Conor has played nobody has been put out of position and he’s played exceptionally well. He’s probably a better defender than what Trent is, but nobody does what Trent Alexander-Arnold does,” Thompson said.
Easy solution
Bradley may have given Klopp a bit of a selection headache here, but let’s be honest, this isn’t a bad position to be in.
Having two quality right-backs is a great spot for Liverpool to find themselves in, and it’s even better when you consider that Alexander-Arnold has been eyeing a move into the midfield for some time now.
There’s an easy solution here, play Bradley at right-back and move Alexander-Arnold into the midfield permanently, it makes Liverpool more defensively sound and perhaps unlocks a new aspect of creativity in the middle of the park.
Jurgen Klopp will find a way to make this work, that’s for sure.
