Tottenham travel to Anfield this Sunday to take on Liverpool, and Paul Merson has revealed his prediction for the game.
Both Spurs and Jurgen Klopp‘s side have had a very difficult few weeks.
Tottenham have lost three games on the bounce in the Premier League and have won just two of their last seven. Their chances of qualifying for next season’s Champions League look really slim now.
Liverpool have won just two of their last six games in all competitions – one of which was the victory in the second leg against Atalanta, which rightly felt like a defeat at the time.
The two teams will both want to bounce back, and it will be a great game to watch.

Tottenham will go into the game against Liverpool on Sunday on the back of a really disappointing 2-0 defeat at Chelsea last night.
Spurs were nowhere near their best, and Ange Postecoglou was absolutely furious with his players on the touchline at Stamford Bridge.
Liverpool aren’t in a happy place either.
The Reds were held to a 2-2 draw against West Ham United in their last game, and to make things worse, Jurgen Klopp and Mohamed Salah were involved in a spat on the touchline.
When two clubs have their backs against the wall, they will come out firing, and that’s what expect when Liverpool take on Tottenham this Sunday.
Paul Merson too believes it will be a high-scoring game. He has predicted a six-goal spectacle at Anfield, with Liverpool picking up all three points.
He wrote on Sportskeeda: “Jurgen Klopp only has two more home games and his players will want to put on a show to give him the send off he deserves.
“Tottenham always have a go and score a lot of goals, so this game could be incredibly entertaining.”
Merson’s prediction: Liverpool 4-2 Tottenham
What happened in Tottenham’s last five games at Anfield
Anfield is one of the toughest grounds to go to opposition players.
Jurgen Klopp has built a bit of a fortress at home, and even when their form, in general, hasn’t been great, they almost always find a way to get the job done at Anfield.
Tottenham have an extremely difficult test this weekend. Their confidence is really low after three consecutive defeats, and to make things worse, their record at Anfield is not great either.
In their last five visits to Liverpool‘s home ground, Spurs have drawn one and lost four. They have scored seven goals and conceded 11 in that run.
Ange Postecoglou would love to change that this weekend, but that’s easier said than done.
