Liverpool have had their fair share of injury issues in recent weeks, and the international break never really helps with regards to clubs and fans sweating over the fitness of their players.
One Reds player has now been spotted in training for his country after missing a number of matches for Jurgen Klopp‘s side due to injury.
Ibrahima Konate has been absent for Liverpool since limping off during the 5-1 Europa League round-of-16 first-leg win away at Sparta Prague on 7 March.
The centre-back missed the 1-1 Premier League draw with Manchester City, the Europa League last-16 win over Sparta at Anfield, and Sunday’s FA Cup loss at Manchester United.
Despite missing a number of games for Liverpool, Konate was included in the latest France squad for their friendlies over the coming few days.
And on Monday, the Reds ace was pictured in training for Les Bleus at their Clairefontaine national centre.

Liverpool star Ibrahima Konate back in training for France
While it’s good to see Konate back in training for his nation and looking in good condition, there will no doubt be a lot of concern from Liverpool with regards to the risks that come with international duty.
Jurgen Klopp will surely not want the ‘outstanding‘ defender thrown in at the deep end and playing too much in Les Bleus’ upcoming friendlies considering he’s only just back.
France are first in action on Saturday night, taking on Germany at Lyon’s Groupama Stadium. They’ll then take on Chile at Marseille’s Stade Velodrome on Tuesday night.
Liverpool are next in action on Sunday 31 March, when they host Brighton & Hove Albion at Anfield.
