Jamie Carragher has lauded the passing of Liverpool defender Trent Alexander-Arnold against Arsenal this evening.
The Reds and the Gunners have put on quite the show and go into half-time at 1-1. The home side got their equaliser when Mo Salah scored a fine individual goal to level out Gabriel’s opener.
Of course, Salah wouldn’t have been in the position he did get into if it wasn’t for a superb pass from Trent.

“Liverpool needed one of the front three to come to the party. Salah certainly has there. Alexander-Arnold’s passing range is out of this world,” Carragher said.
Alexander-Arnold now has four assists this season to go along the goals he’s also providing this year.
Trent is just too good at times for Liverpool
Arsenal are in this game but they have got to be wondering what they can do about Alexander-Arnold at times.
Some of the passing on display has been, as Carragher says, out of this world. There’s been certain passes that nobody else on the pitch would be able to pull off.
Trent just seems to be getting better and better this season and in that slightly advanced role, he is pure dynamite.
Liverpool could very easily go and win this game if they keep going as they are. And you can imagine that Alexander-Arnold will be key in them doing so.
If he can keep producing moments of magic with his passing like he has in that opening 45, then the sky is the limit for the Reds in this game.
