Jermaine Jenas has given his verdict on Liverpool striker Darwin Nunez.
The former Tottenham Hotspur star and TNT Sports pundit has not been too impressed with Nunez this season.
So, what has Jermaine Jenas said about Liverpool striker Darwin Nunez? Let’s take a look.
Jermaine Jenas gives his verdict on Liverpool striker Darwin Nunez
Well, former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Jermaine Jenas does not think that Liverpool will win the Premier League title this season.
One of the reasons why Liverpool will not become champions of England is because of Darwin Nunez, according to Jenas.
The TNT Sports pundit has not been impressed by the 24-year-old striker. TalkSPORT pundit Scott Minto has not been either.
The Uruguay international striker has made 11 starts and seven substitute appearances in the Premier League for Liverpool this season. Nunez has scored five goals and given five assists in those games.

Jenas told TNT Sports when asked whether Liverpool could go on a winning run like Manchester City could: “I don’t think so. I still think the midfield is figuring itself out.
“Up front, [Darwin] Nunez is not really come to the fore yet and do what everyone has expected him to do. I wouldn’t go with Liverpool just yet.”
My View: Keep faith in Darwin Nunez
In my view, Liverpool fans need to keep faith in Darwin Nunez. Jamie Carragher rates him highly, and I believe that the striker will come good for the Reds… eventually.
While Nunez does not score a lot and can look awkward in front of the opposition’s goal, he is a handful for the opponents and always works hard.
The striker is quick and does not shy away from taking on an opposition defender. He always makes the right runs and never gives his opponents a moment’s rest.
