138 Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has named West Ham United star Jarrod Bowen as his favourite player in the Premier League right now.
The Reds qualified for the semi-finals of the Carabao Cup tonight after beating the Hammers at Anfield. David Moyes‘ side were completely dominated, but Bowen still managed to score a lovely goal late in the game.

Jarrod Bowen is arguably West Ham United’s best player, and Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is a big fan of him.
The 27-year-old joined the Hammers from Hull City in January 2020. He has developed tremendously at the London Stadium over the years and is now a player who is a real threat every time he plays.
Ahead of the game between West Ham and Liverpool at Anfield tonight, Klopp delivered his verdict on the Hammers.
What he said about Bowen caught everyone’s eye.
He told Sky Sports: “David is doing an incredible job, I have to say. They are good again, through in Europe, it’s really impressive. Injuries issues as well.
“Playing without Antonio, and Bowen steps up in that position – probably my favourite player besides my players – it’s just great what he’s doing and how he develops.”
Jarrod Bowen was linked with a move to Liverpool
Jurgen Klopp’s comments on Bowen doesn’t come as a surprise when you consider that the West Ham forward has been linked with a move to Liverpool in the past.
TalkSPORT claimed back in October that Bowen rejected a chance to move to Anfield in favour of signing a new long-term contract at the London Stadium.
Liverpool have Mohamed Salah now, but there is a chance he could leave the Reds at the end of the season to move to Saudi Arabia.
Klopp will need to find a replacement if that happens, and Bowen may well come under consideration next summer. However, he will cost a fortune as West Ham believe he’s worth £100 million now.
