133 Alexis Mac Allister has sent a message to Liverpool star Mohamed Salah ahead of his departure to take part in the African Cup of Nations this month.
The Egyptian had an eventful game against the Magpies in the Premier League last night. He missed a penalty in the first half but made up for it by assisting one and scoring two after the break. Now, he’s set to board the plane to join up with the Egypt national squad.

Mohamed Salah has once again been Liverpool’s main man in attack.
The Egyptian extended his tally for the season to 18 goals and nine assists in all competitions last night. That is an outstanding return, and it’s no surprise that Liverpool are on top of the Premier League table.
After a magnificent performance last night, Salah is now on his way back home as he aims to lead Egypt to the African Cup of Nations crown.
The winger took to Instagram last night to celebrate his contribution to help Liverpool win. A number of his teammates showed him some love below.
Alexis Mac Allister wrote: “We will miss you momito. Good luck.”
The likes of Virgil van Dijk, Diogo Jota and Adrian replied with emojis. Transfer guru Fabrizio Romano said: “What a player!”
Liverpool will miss Mo Salah
Egypt have been drawn with Ghana, Mozambique and Cape Verde in the group stage of the African Cup of Nations this month,
Mohamed Salah’s side are the absolute favourites to get into the next round of the competition, and if the Liverpool man continues to fire like he has done this season, they could go on and win it.
If Egypt do go all the way, Salah will be unavailable for Liverpool until the 11th of February. That means he will miss both legs of the League Cup semi-final, He will also be out of the FA Cup clash and the Premier League fixtures against Arsenal.
That would be a massive blow for Liverpool, and even though have many quality players in their squad, we’re sure they will miss their star Egyptian.
