Liverpool have so many incredible players on their books at the moment.
Virgil van Dijk, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Alexis Mac Allister very much fit into that world-class category, and they’re not the only ones.
Indeed, the Reds have so many top players, but perhaps the best of the best is Mohamed Salah.
The Egyptian King has been utterly incredible for Liverpool for the best part of a decade now, and speaking on the BBC Match of the Day Top 10 Podcast, Micah Richards has shared some praise for the winger, claiming that he’s just ‘the best’.

Richards spoke about Salah alongside Lineker when discussing the best solo goals in Premier League history.
“We’ve had a million conversations about him and his consistency,” Lineker said.
“He’s just the best, isn’t he?” Richards said.
Mohamed Salah might be the best
Richards says that Salah is just the best, and he’s not wrong.
The reality is that the winger might actually be the best player in Premier League history at this point.
He’s scored goals at an almost unprecedented rate, he’s won all there is to win, and he’s been more consistent than almost anyone who has come before him.
Of course, there are arguments to make for the likes of Thierry Henry and even Kevin De Bruyne, but Salah is right in and amongst the discussion if you’re talking about the best or most effective players to ever play in this division.
Granted, Salah hasn’t been at his best recently, and he does need to kick-on again if Liverpool are to win the league this season, but, at the same time, he’s still on track to have another 20-goal season and that remains an incredible return for a wide player.
Salah is one of the best in the business, there’s no doubt about that.
