Liverpool face Chelsea in the Carabao Cup final on Sunday, and Jurgen Klopp has a number of selection headaches to contend with heading into this game.
Indeed, Liverpool have plenty of injuries within their squad right now, with major problems in the attack and at full-back.
Speaking on Premier League Productions, Danny Murphy has been discussing how Liverpool should line-up this weekend, and he’s stated that he would bring Andy Robertson back into the team and stick with Conor Bradley at right-back, leaving Joe Gomez on the bench for this one.

The pundit spoke about the 25-year-old.
“Sunday is a big game for obvious reasons. Hopefully either Salah or Nunez will be back to join Gakpo and Diaz, I think Robertson will come back in, I think he will have to make a decision on Gomez at right-back or if he sticks with Conor Bradley in there. I’d play the young lad. Go after Chelsea, they’re more in fear of you than you are of them, he was just Man of the Match against Chelsea, let him go again,” Murphy said.
Harsh
This would be very harsh.
Joe Gomez has been utterly brilliant for Liverpool all season long. Whether he’s playing at right-back, left-back or centre-half, and he deserves a start in this cup final.
However, the same can be said of both Robertson and Bradley.
Robertson is undoubtedly Liverpool’s best left-back, while Bradley has been utterly fantastic since coming into the team, and, as Murphy says, the youngster was incredible against Chelsea last month where he was arguably the Man of the Match against the Blues.
Sadly, one of these players will likely have to miss out, and if Gomez is forced to drop to the bench, we can’t help but think that would be a very harsh call.
