150 Harvey Elliott and Tyler Morton were amongst those to laud Jarell Quansah on social media after the Liverpool defender’s appearance for England under-21s on Tuesday night.
Quansah took to Instagram after helping the Young Lions keep a clean sheet in their 3-0 win over Northern Ireland, which leaves them second in their qualifying group after four victories from five games.
It has definitely been a rapid rise for Jarell Quansah. The 20-year-old began the year by going on loan to Bristol Rovers and making his professional debut in League One.

But he now appears to be a permanent fixture in Jurgen Klopp’s first-team squad. Trent Alexander-Arnold claimed Quansah was ‘extraordinary’ when he came on for his Liverpool debut against Newcastle.
And Quansah has managed to really impress Klopp in training. So it is hardly a surprise that he is now establishing himself in the under-21 ranks with England.
Quansah made his debut for the side in October. And after helping the team to the emphatic victory on Tuesday, he took to Instagram to comment on the win.

Bright future ahead for Liverpool starlet
It is quite the statement that Quansah is becoming a bigger part of the plans at Liverpool right now. After a couple of disappointing years for the club, the Reds are now back amongst the title-chasers in the Premier League. And their squad has a lot of potential for the future.
But Quansah has featured four times in the Premier League, while he has also made two starts in the Europa League.
And he has definitely managed to impress. Liverpool have actually won eight of the nine games he has featured in in all competitions, with the loss to Toulouse in the Europa League proving to be the only exception.
Certainly, it would not be a surprise if Quansah was being talked about as a contender for a call-up to the full England squad in the next few years.
