Martin Caceres has named Darwin Nunez as the fastest player in world football.
The former Juventus defender was building his so-called perfect player when speaking to Goal on TikTok.
The Uruguayan was asked to pick a number of attributes from certain players to build an ultimate footballer.
As you can imagine, Caceres picked the likes of Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo for their left and right feet respectively, but when it came to speed, he picked the Liverpool star.
Caceres knows Nunez very well from his time with the national team, and he reckons that Nunez may well be the fastest player in the world.

Caceres shared his verdict on the striker.
“Best left foot?” Caceres was asked.
“Messi,” Caceres said.
“Best right foot?”
“Ronaldo,” Caceres said.
“Speed?”
“Darwin, Darwin Nunez,” Caceres stated.
Lightning
Caceres may not be too far wrong here.
Nunez is one of the very quickest players we have ever seen, and his remarkable pace make him such a dangerous weapon in the attack.
His ability to get in behind is unreal, and that allows him to get more chances than any other player in the Premier League.
Unfortunately, Nunez’s finishing does let him down sometimes, so his goalscoring numbers probably aren’t what they should be, but his ability to stretch defences and create chances for himself is frightening.
Nunez is one of the most dangerous attackers in the world, and Liverpool are very lucky to have him as an option, even if he isn’t the most important player in their team right now.
