Liverpool are really keen on one Chelsea player as Arne Slot has laid out his initial transfer plans for the summer transfer window.
Both Chelsea and Liverpool will be under new management next season, with Enzo Maresca set to land at Stamford Bridge imminently.
The Leicester City boss will replace Mauricio Pochettino after the Argentine parted ways with the Blues by mutual consent last week.
One of Maresca’s first tasks at Stamford Bridge could be fending off interest from Liverpool in one of his key players.

The Daily Mail’s Kieran Gill claims that Slot is keen to sign a ‘versatile’ left-footed defender at Liverpool this summer.
Levi Colwill is a player the Reds like but that could prove to be a difficult deal to pull off.
Indeed, Chelsea are keen to keep hold of their academy star and Colwill is also contracted to the club until 2029.
“Liverpool like Levi Colwill – Arne Slot is chasing a versatile left-footed defender – but Chelsea want 21-year-old academy graduate to stay this summer. Contracted until 2029 with option of a further year,” Gill wrote.

TBR Football confirmed just last month that Liverpool have remained in contact with Chelsea over a move for Colwill. Should the Blues change their stance on the 21-year-old, Slot’s side would be ready to make a move.
The Reds were in contact with the west London club over Colwill in January and last summer but were told on both occasions he wasn’t available.
Brighton were also keen to snap up Colwill last summer and were ready to offer £40 million for the centre-back. The Englishman had enjoyed an impressive campaign on loan at the Amex Stadium beforehand.

It feels unlikely that Chelsea would be willing to cash in on Colwill over the coming weeks.
Despite needing to raise funds due to Profit and Sustainability Rules (PSR) rules, Colwill seems like the perfect fit for Maresca’s system.
The Italian boss preferred his left-back to form a back-three while his right-back inverted at Leicester. When you consider the fact that Colwill excels in a similar role, you’d imagine that Maresca will be keen to keep him at the club.
