Liverpool are now expected to send Palmeiras a bid for Luis Guilherme in the next few days.
That is according to Jorge Nicola.
So, what is the latest on Liverpool and Luis Guilherme? Let’s take a look…
Liverpool expected to bid for Luis Guilherme
Well – according to Nosso Palestra – Liverpool recently made contact with Palmeiras to enquire about the Brazil U20 international.
In that story, it was said that Guilherme has a release clause worth £44m.
Now – according to Nicola – Liverpool are encouraged to push forward with this transfer pursuit after speaking to Palmeiras, and intend to make an offer in the coming days.

Nicola adds that Liverpool have already held talks with the 18-year-old’s family as well as Palmeiras, so the Reds certainly sound serious about finalising this deal.
Luis Guilherme should settle well at Liverpool
It remains unclear whether Liverpool would send Guilherme back on loan to Palmeiras if an agreement can be reached.
However – if the teenager does immediately go into the senior setup at Anfield – he should have no issues settling in with plenty of Brazilians already at Liverpool.
Alisson Becker is the most experienced Brazilian at Liverpool who could help Guilherme adjust to his new surroundings, while the likes of Marcelo Pitaluga and Thiago Alcantara – who spent his childhood in Brazil – are also available to the South American.

Be sure to keep an eye on the situation involving Guilherme, as Liverpool are expected to bid soon.
