Liverpool are currently in pursuit of a new manager as Jurgen Klopp prepares to vacate the Anfield hotseat at the end of the season.
And over the past couple of days, speculation regarding the Reds‘ managerial search has intensified considerably.
Previously, there was some speculation involving Xabi Alonso and Ruben Amorim, but things now have picked up with a different coach.
The manager in question is Feyenoord’s Arne Slot, who won the Dutch Cup with the Rotterdam club just a few days ago.
Earlier today, TBR Football sources claimed that Liverpool are now in talks with the Dutch club over their manager, who is keen on the move.

One relatively new detail is about how much Liverpool could potentially expect to pay for the 45-year-old and members of his backroom staff.
This would be in the region of £12.8million, while compensation for Slot himself is likely to be in excess of £8.6million.
What has Ben Jacobs said about Liverpool and Arne Slot state of play?
“Bit more detail on Liverpool’s pursuit of Arne Slot,” Jacobs wrote on X.
“Feyenoord boss very keen on the move. Compensation likely to be €10m+ should a deal be agreed. Could be closer to €15m, depending on other backroom staff exits.
“No formal release clause in Slot’s contract, which runs until 2026.
“Liverpool have an good relationship with Feyenoord, who appreciated the formal approach coming after their KNVB Cup win.
“Things are now moving fast with much of Liverpool’s focus on Slot, despite still keeping the door open to other candidates within their thorough process.
“Slot’s brave, attacking football is seen as a big plus. #LFC also rate Slot’s attitude towards recruitment, and believe he can work collaboratively, including being heavily involved in player pitches after targets are determined.
“Liverpool place significant emphasis on finding not just the right footballers, but the right characters, who can fit into a set style and have impact off the field.
“Several managers who buy into this approach have made it to the latter stages of Liverpool’s process, as have ones with a track-record of developing young talent.
“Slot can be termed the favourite to replace Jurgen Klopp at this point.”
What has been said about Liverpool target Arne Slot?
It looks as though Liverpool’s pursuit of Slot is picking up speed, and it’s good to hear that the Reds are making progress for such a top managerial talent.
Alasdair Gold described Slot’s philosophy as a “Pochettino in the making”, while Dutch journalist Marcel van der Kraan also provided a glowing endorsement of the 45-year-old.
“The best thing about Arne Slot is that he is probably the best attacking coach I have seen in the last 35-40 years at Feyenoord,” he told talkSPORT last year.
“He is very similar to Pep Guardiola, his ideas are very similar, he is a massive fan of Pep and he plays the same time.
“He goes ultra-attacking, he is almost like a maniac. Not on the touchline but it is fantastic to see how he has turned an average side into a wonderful attacking machine.”
Then we have Feyenoord’s Alireza Jahanbakhsh singing his current manager’s praises very highly last year.
“He is one of the best managers I’ve ever seen,” he said, as per The Athletic. “In football terms, even the best. At the moment, he is the best in the Netherlands.”
