With a nervy 2-1 victory over Fulham in the Carabao Cup in the books, we want you to help us choose Liverpool’s man of the match.

It’s an age old tale. Liverpool concedes early, unable to find a goal for the next hour, finally gets an equalizer, then a lead-taking goal. After looking dismal for most of the match, despite having all of the possession and shots on goal, Liverpool took the game by the scruff of the neck and decided to make things a little easier for themselves in the last twenty minutes. (Or harder, however you want think about it).

Conor Bradley stepped in for the injured Trent Alexander-Arnold and put in an admirable shift for the youngster, even with Fulham allowed to foul all over the park. We’d be remiss not to mention game winner Cody Gakpo, coming on for Harvey Elliott and scoring that winning goal only two minutes after Curtis Jones’ equalizer. Jones himself seemed pretty comfortable in his midfield role and continues to look like he’s getting better and better. Alexis Mac Allister also returned to the starting lineup and returned to his calm, metronomic style of play, helping to manage the tempo with ease.

Now let us know how you saw it. We’ve narrowed down the options to a few of the players we thought had the best performances for the Reds, now make your choice and vote for who you think should be the Man of the Match—or take to the comments to let us know that we got it wrong by not even including the real man of the match in the options.

And as always, a reminder that for anyone visiting on Apple News or Google AMP and looking to cast a vote who can’t see the poll, you can make it visible by navigating to the front page of The Liverpool Offside and loading the full version of the story from there.
