With something in the books, we want you to pick the Man of the Match.
Well, that was a poignant end of a terrible week, and most likely the end of the Premier League title challenge for Liverpool. Alisson made his return from injury and was immediately thrown into the fire. After having no chance on the goal for Crystal Palace, the Brazilian netminder made some massive saves to keep the visitor from running away with the game. Andy Robertson was really the only other standout on the day, hustling back to clear a goal off of the line and putting in a good shift going forward. Robertson generated much of the offense down the left flank, putting in some good whipped crosses as well as some dangerous cut backs.
Now let us know how you saw it. We’ve narrowed down the options to a few of the players we thought had the best performances for the Reds, now make your choice and vote for who you think should be the Man of the Match—or take to the comments to let us know that we got it wrong by not even including the real man of the match in the options.
And as always, a reminder that for anyone visiting on Apple News or Google AMP and looking to cast a vote who can’t see the poll, you can make it visible by navigating to the front page of The Liverpool Offside and loading the full version of the story from there.
