Klopp could now start 21-year-old Liverpool gem tonight who's so talented it's 'insane', LASK beware - TBR View

Liverpool are hoping to wrap up top spot in Group E of the Europa League with a game to spare on Thursday night.

Jurgen Klopp‘s Reds will be hosting LASK at Anfield, and they’ll look to get another good result against the Austrian outfit.

Liverpool will seal top spot if they beat LASK and nearest rivals Toulouse fail to see off Belgian side Union SG at home on the same night.

The likelihood is Liverpool will ring the changes once again for the Europa League encounter, and Klopp has many great options available to him.

One of those is Ryan Gravenberch. Due to a minor knock, he missed out on the Toulouse loss and came on as a substitute against Manchester City.

The 21-year-old had come into his own before the international break, but the knock he suffered halted his momentum somewhat.

Gravenberch appears to have shaken that knock off and will be raring to go as Liverpool look to get over the line in the Europa League.

There’s also scope for Curtis Jones to start, but he hasn’t been back long from a thigh problem and looked a bit off the pace against City.

With that in mind, it might be best to rest him until later on in the game, where he could potentially come on for Gravenberch.

Liverpool ace Ryan Gravenberch is ‘technically incredibly good’

Gravenberch is up and running at Liverpool, already delivering great contributions to the team. A month ago, Klopp couldn’t sing the player’s praises highly enough.

“He is technically incredibly good, the first touch is insane,” the Liverpool boss told the Anfield media team.

“The speed-up is top-class. Really good shooter, which we saw with the Darwin [Nunez] goal which was disallowed [v Union]; but the ball was a fire ball before.

“He’s a really good player. Yes, he came late and yes, we play slightly different and yes, that needs time to adapt and that’s what we can give him, thank God.”

Gravenberch is just 21, so it’s frightening to think how much better he can yet become for Liverpool.
