Liverpool’s focus is on appointing a new manager and sporting director, but that doesn’t mean they don’t have players on their shortlist – Wolves star Pedro Neto is someone they are looking at.
The Reds are in a fantastic position right now. They’ve already won the Carabao Cup, are still alive in the Europa League and the FA Cup, and are currently on top of the Premier League table. Liverpool’s squad is absolutely amazing, and a player like Neto would improve them even more.

Pedro Neto will be a wanted man in the upcoming summer transfer window.
The Wolves winger has always impressed people, but his performances this season, in particular, have been excellent over the last few months.
Neto has 11 assists already this term, and it is looking very likely that he will be of interest to a number of clubs in the summer transfer window.
Arsenal have been heavily linked with a move to sign the 23-year-old, while Tottenham Hotspur are said to be interested in his services as well.
Now, Fabrizio Romano has urged us to ‘keep a close eye’ on Liverpool as they like Neto too and have watched him for quite some time now.
The journalist wrote in his Daily Briefing: “I would also keep a close eye on Liverpool – let’s see who’s going to be their manager, let’s see who’s going to be their director and what kind of strategy they will have.
“But Pedro Neto has also been scouted by Liverpool in recent months and years.”

We don’t know what style of football Liverpool will play next season, but Pedro Neto would be a useful player to have in the squad regardless of who their manager is.
The Wolves star can play on either wing comfortably. He’s good on the ball, is quick, can take players on and has proven that he can score goals and provide assists in the Premier League.
Liverpool signed Diogo Jota from Wolves a few years ago and he has been a massive success. We can’t see why Neto won’t be the same if he goes to Anfield.
However, David Ornstein has revealed that Wolves want £80 million for Neto (The Athletic). Only time will tell if Liverpool would be willing to match that figure.
