Gabriel Agbonlahor has named who he believes will win the Premier League title, with Liverpool currently leading the way ahead of Arsenal – and he has predicted how many points the champions will finish on.
The title race is threatening to do right down to the wire. The top three are within touching distance of each other, with Liverpool two points clear of Arsenal.
Meanwhile, Manchester City are a further point back of the summit after their draw with Mikel Arteta’s side on Sunday.
There are reasons to tip each of the three sides right now. Manchester City have come out on top in so many title races over the last decade. And Pep Guardiola’s men are looking to become the first side in Premier League history to win four league crowns in a row.
Arsenal came agonisingly close last year. And their performances this season suggest that they are determined to clear that final hurdle this time around.
No team has scored more goals than Arsenal. And no team has conceded fewer either.

But it is Liverpool on pole position right now. The Reds have clinched a title against the Manchester City machine. And they look to be determined to send Jurgen Klopp off in the best possible way ahead of his departure this summer.

“I feel, as it stands now, I looked at the run-ins yesterday and I looked at them closely and I thought Liverpool will win the title,” he said.
“Just by looking at the run-ins. It’s when you play certain teams as well. For instance, I look at Arsenal, second from last game, Manchester United away. United won’t have a chance of finishing fifth. Their season will be done. But they will try and make sure they get something from that game against Arsenal.
“I just think Liverpool, the confidence they’ve got, watching them play as well, Szoboszlai, Salah, Nunez, Diaz, Harvey Elliott’s looking very good from the bench.
“They’ve got players to come back still, Curtis Jones. Konate was on the bench, he can’t get back into the side yet. Trent’s got to come back. Gomez is looking strong. Alisson’s got to come back. I’m looking at Liverpool and I feel like is this meant to be with Klopp leaving?”
Liverpool’s performance has already been remarkable
Agbonlahor went on to add that he sees Liverpool finishing on 92 points as they take eight wins and a draw from their final nine games.
Meanwhile, he had Manchester City on 89, and Arsenal third on 85.
That would be an incredible achievement if Liverpool could go on and get the job done. Certainly, it would be a very fitting way for Klopp to bring the curtain down on his time at Anfield.
Liverpool have overcome so many obstacles in recent months. And they have had so many injuries to deal with. And yet, they find themselves top of the pile right now.
Arsenal have definitely improved this season. And everyone knows what Manchester City are capable of. So there are plenty of twists ahead.
But there will undoubtedly be plenty of neutrals hoping that Agbonlahor proves to be correct.
