Jamie Carragher and Gary Neville have shared their predictions for Liverpool’s huge clash against Arsenal on Saturday.
Mikel Arteta will be bidding to pick up his first win at Anfield in the league as a manager and extend Arsenal’s lead at the top of the table.
The Gunners leapfrogged Jurgen Klopp’s side over the weekend after Liverpool were held to a goalless draw by a spirited Manchester United side.
Arsenal picked up a convincing 2-0 win over Brighton. But Liverpool sit just a point behind Arteta’s side heading into Saturday’s clash.
And Gary Neville has backed Arsenal to pick up a rare win at Anfield, but Jamie Carragher disagrees.

Speaking on Stick to Football, Neville and Carragher had differing opinions when it comes to Saturday’s clash.
“I don’t think Liverpool will lose at Anfield,” Carragher said. “I think it will be 1-1.”
Neville added: “I don’t think Liverpool will win. I think Arsenal will win.
“But Liverpool are just mad. I’m going 2-0 Arsenal.”

But Liverpool weren’t at their best last weekend as they struggled to break down a resilient United side.
With that being said, the Reds picked up a convincing 5-1 win over West Ham in the League Cup quarter-final last night.
Both Arsenal and Liverpool seem to be right in the mix for the title at the moment.
Manchester City has endured a difficult start to the season and both sides will be aiming to capitalise on such a start from Pep Guardiola’s side.
A win for Arsenal or Liverpool would certainly lay down a marker in the title race and based on recent performances, you’d have to favour the Gunners.
