Jurgen Klopp has been providing some updates for Liverpool fans – and there was a comment about Thiago.
The 56-year-old was speaking in his press conference earlier on Friday.
So, what did Jurgen Klopp say about Thiago? Let’s take a look…
What Klopp said about Thiago
Well, the German confirmed the sad news that Liverpool’s No.6 had suffered an injury setback after making his comeback in the 3-1 defeat to Arsenal on Sunday.
Klopp also provided some insight about how Thiago had performed in sessions at the AXA Training Centre after regaining enough fitness to take part alongside his teammates.
The man from Stuttgart is quoted by Neil Jones as saying: “Endo is available. Besides that we have a few problems. Thiago is not cool, he looked fantastic in training, he played a few minutes and he has a muscle issue. We don’t know the extent yet. Really not good news for him, for us.”

Thiago has only managed to play five minutes of football this season – all of which came in Sunday’s defeat to Arsenal.
Thiago may not play for Liverpool again
Sadly, the 32-year-old may not actually play another game for Liverpool.
That is according to the aforementioned Jones.

Hopefully, we have not seen the last of the Spaniard in a Liverpool shirt, as he is arguably one of the most aesthetically pleasing footballers to ever play for the Reds, and injects real quality into Klopp’s midfield.
