Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp raved about Darwin Nunez following his side’s win over West Ham United last night.
The Reds were made to work hard at Anfield by David Moyes’ men, but Nunez’s first-half strike proved to be enough to secure all three points.

Nunez had a really difficult start to life in the Premier League, but his performances recently have been very good. His display last night, however, was arguably his best since joining the club.
The Uruguayan gave West Ham’s defenders all sorts of problems last night, especially in the first half. If it wasn’t for Lukasz Fabianski and the post, Nunez could’ve scored a hat-trick before the break.
The 23-year-old is slowly looking like the real deal now, and Klopp claimed after the game last night that he’s really excited about the talented striker.
He told BBC Sport about Nunez after the game: “He was outstanding.
“He is a massive talent and we’re really excited about him.”

Liverpool fans have been waiting for Nunez to step up, and it finally looks like the Uruguayan has arrived.
It’s not just yesterday that he sprung to life, the Uruguayan has been playing really well for a few weeks now. He was excellent against Arsenal and he has looked better and better since.
Klopp and everyone at Liverpool are right to be excited about Nunez. The Uruguayan is still just 23 years old, and if he keeps improving as he is, he could become one of the best strikers in the country in a few years’ time.
Liverpool take on Nottingham Forest this weekend, and Nunez will back himself to score if he starts again.
