98 Liverpool have a number of incredibly talented young players coming through right now.
The likes of Conor Bradley, Ben Doak and Stefan Bajcetic look like potential stars in the making.
According to Ian Doyle, speaking on the Blood Red Podcast, there’s also another teenage talent at Liverpool that Jurgen Klopp loves.
Indeed, according to Doyle, Klopp remains a huge fan of Kaide Gordon despite the fact he’s not played a single domestic game for the Reds this season due to injury and huge competition on the wing.
Klopp still really likes Kaide Gordon
Doyle shared what he knows about the 19-year-old.
“I think in terms of Liverpool, I know he’s not new but I think Kaide Gordon is great, and Jurgen Klopp really likes him as well. It’s been a tough season for Ben Doak after his initial impact, he obviously got that injury,” Doyle said.
Potential star
We’ve not seen lots of Kaide Gordon in a Liverpool shirt, but everything you hear about this young man suggests that he’s going to be a star.
Jurgen Klopp has continuously said that he’s doing well in training, while Joe Gomez has also been full of praise for the youngster in the past.
Gordon’s development has been hampered by injury, but this is still a fantastic young player who could have a huge future in the game.
The fact that Klopp rates him so highly tells you all you need to know. There aren’t many figures in football who are better at spotting talent than Klopp, and if he can get back on track, it may not be long before we see this young man having a serious impact at first-team level.
Between Gordon and Doak, Liverpool’s future out on the wings looks to be incredibly exciting.
Let’s hope Gordon can grow into a star at Anfield.
