237 Liverpool secured their place in the FA Cup fourth round last night as they saw off Arsenal at The Emirates.
The Reds hung in the game then scored via and own goal, before Luis Diaz rattled in a late goal to put the shine on what Jurgen Klopp felt was a deserved win for his team.
Of course, Liverpool relied on some big performances from key players. Ibou Konate was once again in fine form at the centre of defence, while the aforementioned Diaz was also back in form.
However, it was the performance of Trent Alexander-Arnold – again – that caught the eye and after posting on Instagram after the game, the likes of Jude Bellingham showed their love for the Liverpool star.

After taking to Instagram to make a simple ‘FA Cup Magic’ post following the win, a number of players and celebs were on hand to sing the praises of Alexander-Arnold.
Most notably, Real Madrid star Bellingham was in the comments quickly, as was goal scorer Luis Diaz, as they used a few go-to emojis to show their appreciation for Trent.
Trent continues to shine
As the weeks go by, Trent Alexander-Arnold seems to be getting better and better.
Even the critics who feel he is defensively poor are getting to a point where they can’t really say much about the Liverpool star anymore, such is his impact in games.
Right now, there are few better – if any – right backs in world football. Alexander-Arnold is simply producing the goods week in, week out, and it’s benefitting Liverpool massively.
Jurgen Klopp has obviously found a way to get the best out of the 25-year-old and with the Euros this summer, it’s now down to Gareth Southgate to do the same.
Right now, Liverpool are on course to win something and a big reason for that is Alexander-Arnold’s form.
