Liverpool star Harvey Elliott continues to go from strength to strength for the Reds and for the England Under-21s.
The 20-year-old is now an important member of Jurgen Klopp‘s Reds squad, with 41 outings for his club this season.
Elliott also continues to shine for the Young Lions. He is now on 10 goals from 19 caps for the team.
On Friday, the Liverpool ace bagged a brace as England’s U21s ran out 5-1 winners over Azerbaijan’s U21s in Baku.

Hull City’s Jaden Philogene added a third for England early on in the second half, before Elliott got his second on 67 minutes.
And though Ramin Nasirli pulled a goal back for the hosts on 86 minutes, Archie Gray of Leeds United bagged his debut Young Lions goal for a comprehensive victory.
Elliott took to Instagram after the game with a post celebrating his brace. He shared a picture of himself from the game and the caption ‘X2’.
Plenty of fans praised the Liverpool ace for his efforts on the day, and two of his footballing peers also responded.
Reds teammate Jarell Quansah posted emojis of a heart and a fire, while Chelsea’s Carney Chukwuemeka posted two fire emojis.
Liverpool ace Harvey Elliott should be considered for England senior call-up – opinion
Honestly, at this point, Elliott should be considered for a senior England call-up.
He’s clearly a cut above at Under-21 level, and he’d surely make the sort of impact that Michael Owen and Wayne Rooney made when they first broke into the England fold.
Obviously it would be a huge surprise to see Elliott make the cut for Euro 2024, but if all goes well, it would be great to see him in the fold for the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
