Manchester United and Liverpool battled it out at Old Trafford today in another exciting FA Cup quarter-final clash.
After Chelsea had beaten Leicester late in the day earlier on, old rivals United and Liverpool went head to head to decide who got their date at Wembley. In the end, the game was going to extra-time at the time of publication.
For Liverpool, Jurgen Klopp once again opted to go with the youth of Jarrell Quansah at centre-half.
And as per his form recently, Quansah impressed yet again at the heart of the defence.
Jarrell Quansah impresses for Liverpool again
21-year-old Quansah has really stepped up the mark this term and that form has bene rewarded with a call to the England under-21s.
For Liverpool, Quansah has been crucial as injuries to the likes of Joel Matip and Ibrahima Konate have handed him more chances than he’d probably imagined.

And watching on from afar, former Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher took to X to show his love for Quansah.
A star of the present and future
Liverpool seem to have a nice run of younger players emerging right now and you have to say, Jarrell Quansah is looking the business.
The 21-year-old has slotted into that defence alongside Virgil van Dijk with ease. Indeed, there are times when he looks like he’s been around for years.
Liverpool have really dropped on a gem here and it’s a credit to the work done in the academy that Quansah looks so good already.
Jurgen Klopp’s legacy at Liverpool might be about trophies and exciting football. But leaving behind some young players like Quansah also counts for something.
