Arsenal and Manchester City received a huge boost after Liverpool’s defeat last night, and Micah Richards has now predicted who he thinks will win the Premier League title.
We had the first three-horse race in the Premier League for years, but it looks like it’s down to two now.
Liverpool‘s shock defeat at Everton last night has left them three points behind Arsenal in the table, while Manchester City, who have two games in hand, are just a point below Jurgen Klopp’s side.
Mikel Arteta and Pep Guardiola’s teams are the favourites to go all the way now, and Richards has now had his say on who has the edge in the race.

Arsenal and Liverpool have just four games left in the Premier League this season, while Manchester City have six.
The title is in Pep Guardiola‘s hands at the moment, even though his side are currently third.
If Manchester City win all of their remaining games, they will retain their crown, but they have a couple of tough fixtures coming up.
Arsenal’s fixture list is not straightforward either – they face Tottenham Hotspur next away from home in a game that could have a huge impact on the title race.
Things are hotting up as we enter the final few weeks of the season, and the most exciting part is that any of the three teams – yes, even Liverpool – can still win it.
Micah Richards had his say on the title race last night, and the pundit believes one team has an edge over the other two – Manchester City.
He said on BBC’s Match of the Day: “It’s hotting up. It’s great! You look at Arsenal’s fixtures there and Spurs away which is Sunday is going to be difficult and then Man United away.
“You look at City who have Spurs away as well, but the rest of those games you are thinking they will probably win. Spurs away, their record there is not that great in recent time, it’s hotting up.
“But I just think Man City have the edge.”
Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City’s remaining games compared
It all comes down to the final few games of the season after what has been a gruelling campaign for all three sides in the title race.
Richards is right, Manchester City do have an edge because of their fixture list, and the fact that they have done it before on multiple occasions makes them the favourites.
However, Arsenal are in a good position too, and their record in the Premier League in 2024 – 14 wins and one defeat in 16 games – makes them strong contenders as well.
You can never rule out Liverpool either, despite the position they are in. If Manchester City and Arsenal slip up in the coming weeks, we’re sure Jurgen Klopp’s side will be ready to pounce.
Here’s what all three teams’ fixture list looks like…
Arsenal | Tottenham (A) | Bournemouth (H) | Manchester United (A) | Everton (H) | ||
Manchester City | Brighton (A) | Nottingham Forest (A) | Wolves (H) | Fulham (A) | Tottenham (A) | West Ham (H) |
Liverpool | West Ham (A) | Tottenham (H) | Aston Villa (A) | Wolves (H) |
