Mohamed Salah has more than proven himself as one of the best players in Premier League history.
The Liverpool star is a bona fide world class talent, and this summer, he almost made a record move away from Anfield.
Indeed, Salah was linked with a massive move to Saudi Arabia in the summer, and after that move was denied, many questioned whether or not Salah’s head would still be in the game at Anfield after having such a massive amount of money on the table.
Speaking to Off The Ball, Natasha Dowie has been discussing Salah and some of his detractors, and she says that it’s crazy that anyone would ever doubt Salah or question his commitment to Liverpool.

Dowie shared her verdict on some of the criticism the £34m man received this summer.
“There was a tone out there that if massive Saudi money came in the summer, at the age he is he’d take the money and go. Are you surprised by how good he’s been at all?” Dowie was asked.
“No, and I think it’s crazy that people doubt him at times or question him. When you are playing at perfection all the time you’re beating your own records. Mo loves that, even when he’s not performing you know you have to leave hm on because you have a gola or an assist from nothing,” Dowie said.
Laser-focused
Look, huge amounts of cash are enough to turn any footballer’s head, but Salah is always laser-focused whenever he steps onto the pitch in any capacity.
The winger is a world-class talent, and a consummate professional, and while he may have had half an eye on the Saudi payday this summer, he was never going to let Liverpool down when push came to shove.
It was ridiculous to ever doubt Salah, and he’s shown this season that he’ll always give his all no matter the circumstance.
Salah is a great player, and as Dowie says, it’s crazy that anyone would ever think to question the Egyptian king.
