Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with a move to sign Morten Frendrup, a player whose dream is to sign for Liverpool.
Spurs deserve immense praise for the work they’ve done in this transfer window, haven’t they? Timo Werner‘s arrival was followed by the signing of Radu Dragusin, and they’re both solid additions. The focus now is on midfield, and Frendrup has been linked.

Tottenham made Radu Dragusin their top target in this month’s transfer window.
The Romanian was heavily scouted by Spurs, and he clearly impressed them with his performances for Genoa in the Italian Serie A.
While Tottenham took notes on Dragusin, one of his teammates at Genoa apparently caught the eyes of Spurs scouts – Morten Frendrup.
That’s according to journalist Dean Jones, who revealed this week that Spurs could raid Genoa again to sign the 22-year-old midfielder.
However, Frendrup has publicly claimed in the past that his dream is actually to sign for Tottenham’s rivals in the Premier League, Liverpool.
Speaking about the Reds, Frendrup told Sjællandske Nyheder back in 2018, as quoted by Rousing the Kop: “It’s a dream I’ve always had, and I believe it will succeed.
“If I work hard, I believe in it.”

Liverpool spent a lot of money on their midfield in the summer, but many feel they still need another player in that number six position.
Wataru Endo is the only natural defensive midfielder at Jurgen Klopp‘s disposal, which is why the Reds have their eyes open for opportunities in the market.
Liverpool Echo revealed earlier this month that Genoa’s Morten Frendrup is a player who is admired by the Premier League leaders.
A move this month is unlikely, but if he continues developing well, Liverpool, and potentially even Tottenham, could try and sign him in the summer.
