Roy Keane has shared what really impressed him about Liverpool’s performance against Brighton today.
Jurgen Klopp’s men were forced to come from behind to pick up a 2-1 win over the Seagulls.
An early goal from Danny Welbeck stunned the Anfield crowd as he rifled his effort into the top corner following a sloppy start from Liverpool.
Yet, the Reds levelled things up just 25 minutes later through Luis Diaz and Mohamed Salah’s second-half effort secured a vital three points.

It’s fair to say that on another day Liverpool could have had four or five, while Salah himself could have bagged a hat-trick. But it was Liverpool’s calmness after going behind which impressed Roy Keane.
Keane on what impressed him about Liverpool
The win saw Liverpool move to the top of the Premier League table and Keane lauded Klopp’s side for their response after Welbeck’s opener.
“What impressed me about Liverpool today is they didn’t panic,” the Manchester United legend told Sky Sports.
“It helped them that they conceded early in the game with a long way to go and they should have finished the game off a bit earlier. Brighton obviously kept their spirits but Liverpool’s calmness is what impressed me today having gone a goal down.”

While there were impressive displays all over the pitch for Liverpool today, Mac Allister undoubtedly stole the show in midfield.
Jamie Carragher lauded the Argentine as the ‘best player on the pitch’ after a dominant display in midfield.
The 25-year-old summed up Liverpool’s display after they fell behind as he continued to look for openings with a composed performance.
His passing was also exceptional and after creating a few chances, he was eventually rewarded as he set up Salah for the winner.
