Several Liverpool players have reached the Euro and Copa Ámerica finals.

The teams in the finals of the European Championship and Copa Ámerica have been determined, and several Liverpool players will be competing for trophies.

England beat the Netherlands in the semifinal to send home Liverpool and Dutch captain Virgil van Dijk. This means that Trent Alexander-Arnold and Joe Gomez will represent the Three Lions against Spain on Sunday.

Upon defeat, van Dijk gave an interview where he called this summer a “summer of reflection, thinking carefully about what [he] want[s], at club and national level.” An interesting statement from the 33-year-old who is in the last year of his contract with the Reds.

In the Copa Ámerica, Alexis Mac Allister, playing with Argentina, and Luis Díaz, representing Colombia, will face off in the final.

Colombia made it to the final by beating Uruguay 1-0 in a raucous affair that ended with a red card on each side and Darwin Núñez fighting with Colombian fans after the final whistle. Argentina, meanwhile, bested Canada 2-0 to make it through.

This means that Uruguay and Canada are set for the third place game on Saturday.
