It’s the off-season so the official news is a drip at this point, At least there’s international performances!

Diogo Jota scored for Portugal in a friendly against Croatia on Saturday in the second half. The winger was subbed on and found the back of the net from close range, though the side were ultimately defeated 2-1. The goal marked Jota’s second in as many games after coming back from the injury that left him out of the end of the Premier League season.

Dominik Szoboszlai captained Hungary to a 3-0 victory over Israel, although the midfielder was taken out of the match around the 55th minute. Szoboszlai confirmed post-match that the substitution was just a precautionary measure, and he should be fine for the summer’s upcoming matches.

Szoboszlai told M4 Sport: “I’ll be fine. My legs were a little stiff, I didn’t want to take any risks, that’s why I came off.”

Dominik Szoboszlai came onto the pitch and was walking fine after the final whistle today.
