Trent Alexander-Arnold and Virgil van Dijk have both taken to social media to praise Liverpool defender Ibrahima Konate.
Liverpool were held to a 1-1 draw at Anfield as they were forced to share the points with Arsenal.
The Gunners took an early lead through Gabriel Magalhaes but Mohamed Salah produced an exceptional finish to level things up on the half-hour mark.
In truth, both teams struggled to create clear-cut opportunities on the day but Trent Alexander-Arnold did rattle the woodwork in the second half.
This was largely down to both sides defending exceptionally well on Saturday evening and Ibrahima Konate was amongst the standout performers.

Now, Alexander-Arnold and his centre-back partner Virgil van Dijk have lauded him on Instagram after his display at Anfield last night.

Konate took to social media after yesterday’s game and posted a series of pictures of himself in action.
His teammates flocked beneath the post to congratulate him on a commanding display at centre-back, with Adrian labelling him the Man of the Match.
Alexander-Arnold replied: “Incredible.”
And Van Dijk left three fire emojis beneath the Frenchman’s post.
Konate has struggled with persistent injuries since joining Liverpool for £36 million back in 2021.
The 24-year-old has the potential to be one of the best central defenders in the league and many Liverpool fans view him as Van Dijk’s ideal partner.

Jurgen Klopp will be hoping the France international can avoid picking up any further injuries this term, especially with Joel Matip already sidelined.
