Liverpool had Mo Salah to thank for getting back into things against Crystal Palace yesterday and Freddie Ljungberg has lauded the forward.
Salah got the equalising goal to bring up the 150 Premier League goals for himself and set the Reds on their way to a memorable comeback victory.
The Egyptian’s brilliance was once again vital to Liverpool who then had Harvey Elliott to thank for the winner, with Salah once again playing his part in the goal.
Of course, Salah often wins plenty of plaudits for his work. But former Arsenal midfielder Freddie Ljungberg has become the latest to sing his praises, admitting the Liverpool man is simply impossible to mark.

“I don’t know what to say. He is an incredible football player and I love watching him run with the ball. It’s impossible for defenders to mark him. He’s had a fantastic career,” Ljungberg said.
Mo Salah somehow keeps getting better
There was a point last season where some thought Salah was slowing down a bit and maybe, just maybe, he was losing a touch of his brilliance.
However, this season has seen Salah come roaring back to his best form and he has been absolutely brilliant for Liverpool.
The goals, the assists, the swagger with the ball are all back in abundance and Liverpool are lucky to have such a player on their hands.
Had they lost Salah in the summer to the Saudi Pro League, then they’d have had a serious issue in replacing the former Roma man.
Thankfully, Salah has stayed put and the Reds are now reaping the rewards.
