Real Madrid have had one of the best and most settled midfield’s for some time now but we all know that is going to end soon.

Luka Modric is staying on for another year and Toni Kroos remains at the club, but eventually, Madrid need replacements.

Mac Allister has shown in his first season at Liverpool he can be a big time player. After initially struggling, the World Cup winner has shone and been a regular fixture for Jurgen Klopp’s side.

Jermain Defoe was recently really impressed by Mac Allister against Tottenham and that performance summed up his season really.

Of course, Liverpool won’t want to lose such a player. But the lure of Madrid is strong and Mac Allister may well fancy the switch.
