Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has given his verdict on winger Luis Diaz.
Klopp has been hugely impressed by Diaz’s recent displays and how he has been training.
So, what has Jurgen Klopp said about Liverpool winger Luis Diaz? Let’s take a look.
Jurgen Klopp praises Liverpool winger Luis Diaz
Well, Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has been raving about Colombia international winger Luis Diaz.
Klopp was looking ahead to the Premier League game against Bournemouth on Sunday, and the Liverpool manager was asked about Diaz’s recent performances.
The £37.5 million (BBC Sport) winger had to go through a horrific personal ordeal, but he is now back playing with a smile on his face and can focus on his football.
Liverpool manager Klopp is pleased to see the 27-year-old winger train well and play well. Jamie Carragher has also been impressed.

So, it’s just about trust and faith and time. There was no doubt that he will be back, definitely. And yes, for us that’s very important, absolutely. But that’s how it is, and in general, so far we were not struggling in creating and not really struggling with scoring. So, it’s how it is.
“It’s a general trust and faith that we have in the boys and that’s why they can have a spell where for two, three or four weeks maybe, after the most challenging time of his [Diaz’s] life, which nobody is prepared for.
“He’s back, it’s good and pretty helpful! You can see it in each training session [that] it’s different. I spoke here when he came in that I never really saw something like that: he cannot not smile when he is on the ball! It was like that in the beginning, but there were a few weeks where I missed that a little bit. But the smile is back, and that’s really good!”
My View: Luis Diaz will be massive in title quest
In my opinion, Luis Diaz will be a massive player for Liverpool in their quest to win the Premier League title this season.
The 27-year-old has done well for the Reds so far and is one of the first names on the teamsheet when he is fit and available. Joe Cole thinks that he is a gem.
The winger has made 14 starts and five substitute appearances in the Premier League for Liverpool so far this season. He has scored three goals and provided one assist in those games.
Diaz has made 49 appearances in the Premier League so far in his career. The Colombian has scored 11 goals and given six assists in those games.
