The 61-year-old made the comments when speaking on TNT Sports alongside Peter Crouch.

Well, the Scot felt that Liverpool defended quite poorly in the UEFA Europa League Round of 16 tie, and were fortunate not to concede more than once.
McCoist said: “If we’re going to nit pick, they probably should have conceded more goals.”
The TNT Sports pundit is spot on.
Liverpool were fortunate to come away from Prague having conceded just the once, as the backline was often exposed and left Caoimhin Kelleher vulnerable in between the sticks.
Only a remarkable save from the Irishman and also a stunning clearance from Joe Gomez on the line prevented Sparta Prague from making it 1-1 in the 14th minute.
There were some other hairy moments too, on a night where Liverpool proved attack is the best form of defence.
Liverpool must tighten up a bit
Klopp will obviously approach Sunday’s Premier League clash against Manchester City differently to last night’s knockout tie, but Liverpool need to tighten up defensively regardless.
If the Reds play like they did on Thursday against Pep Guardiola’s side – who will be far more ruthless in front of goal – it could be a cricket score.
Liverpool have kept five clean sheets across the last 15 Premier League outings, and while Kelleher has come good with some significant saves recently – notably from Cole Palmer and Conor Gallagher at Wembley – the Reds cannot leave him exposed again when the Citizens come to Anfield on Sunday.
Hopefully, Liverpool take what McCoist said on board and tighten things up a little ahead of Sunday’s crucial Premier League clash.
