Both Ian Rush and Luis Diaz were blown away by how good one Liverpool player was versus Manchester City yesterday.
Jurgen Klopp saw his Liverpool side deliver a fantastic second half performance at Anfield and in truth they deserved to take three points.

And whilst no one is doubting their credentials as a result for the game, one or two of a Liverpool persuasion may still be gutted that they couldn’t grab a late win.
Of course, those frustrations will only be made worse by the decision not to award Liverpool a penalty for Jeremy Doku’s high challenge on Alexis Mac Allister.
VAR cleared any potential check fairly quickly, with Peter Drury sharing what the officials said when deciding not to overturn the on-field decision.
All that being said, Mac Allister did enjoy an excellent individual display himself alongside Wataru Endo in midfield.
The Argentinian dispatched his high-pressure penalty with confidence and was also absolutely everywhere on the pitch.
Alexis Mac Allister dominated in the middle for Liverpool against City yesterday
Following his display, Mac Allister did take to Instagram to celebrate the collective performance and share something of a rallying call moving forward.
The Liverpool midfielder uploaded a collection of photos after the draw against City yesterday with a caption of: “This is Anfield, where every goal, every match, and every step fuels our journey.

And as you’d expect, a ton of the wider Liverpool family were quick to applaud the goal-scorer in the comments of the post.
Both Ian Rush and Luis Diaz left their support amid a host of replies, showing just how together the whole club is right now.

Liverpool really were superb in the second half against City yesterday, form they will need to continue for each and every of the last 10 games.
That being said, Danny Murphy absolutely loved what Harvey Elliott did yesterday as well.
