From Mohamed Salah to Bukayo Saka, Kudus has played against some of the best in the world already.
Interestingly, Kudus has now named who he believes is the best player he’s ever come up against, and, intriguingly, he’s picked a Liverpool player who has barely featured this season.
Indeed, speaking to Sky Sports, Kudus said that Thiago Alcantara is the best he’s ever played against.

Kudus spoke about the £20m Liverpool man.
“Thiago I would say, Ajax when we played against Liverpool. I wasn’t surprised by what I saw, but to even be that close to him it was too smooth. You can’t get close. He dictated the whole game at Anfield,” Kudus said.

It’s such a shame that Thiago has been injured for so long, because when he’s at his best, he is unplayable.
He’s not the fastest or the strongest, but as Kudus says, he’s so smart and so smooth that no other player can really get near him.
He’s probably the most press-resistant player in the Premier League, and maybe Liverpool would be in a slightly more advantageous position in the title race if he’d been able to stay fit this season.
In terms of natural ability, the Spaniard may well be one of the best players to eve play in England, but, sadly, his body has let him down and he’s rarely been able to showcase his abilities to their full.
Kudus knows a good player when he sees one, and he’s spot on in saying that Thiago is an incredible footballer.
