After a dramatic weekend of football, Jose Mourinho has now given his thoughts on the title race between Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City.
With both Liverpool and City drawing over the weekend, and Arsenal beating Brighton Hove Albion, Mikel Arteta’s side are now one point clear.

And Mourinho has now made a bold call on the chances of Arsenal winning the title, edging his backing to either City or Liverpool.
The Premier League legend was speaking on ‘The Obi One Podcast‘ with John Obi Mikel and provided his prediction.
Mourinho said: “I would say Man City 51 [percent], and Liverpool 49 [percent].”
Presenter replied: “No Arsenal?”
Mourinho: “Nah!”
Presenter: “The rivalry is still there.”
Mourinho: “It’s not the rivalry it is in the right moments.
“Rivalry apart, I would like them to win. Of course, Chelsea is not going to win. It is out of the question.
“Manchester United is not going to win it too. So it is between these three and out of these three I would like Arsenal to win it.
“But 51, 49. And I say 51, 49 because when the accumulation of matches are coming Man City has two teams.”
Jose Mourinho thinks Arsenal are still short of challenging Man City and Liverpool
Of course, with Arsenal often occupying the number one spot in the table in the last year or so, it’s a bold call from Mourinho.
But as said before, the Roma manager is well accustomed to what a title race needs, and he clearly sees something missing in Mikel Arteta’s side.

And although Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool endured a frustrating evening against Manchester United yesterday, they will be hoping to put things right when Arsenal visit Anfield next weekend.
It is going to be a fascinating race, one that surely will go right down to the wire.
And it still is hard to disagree with Mourinho’s idea of City as favourites, even if Liverpool and Arsenal have been so impressive at times.
But by not even naming Arsenal initially, it’s clear that Mourinho values the know-how and experience of a squad more than anything.
Lewis Dunk was blown away by this Arsenal side yesterday, but they still are yet to prove themselves as a team that can consistently lift trophies.
