The Reds have so many strong players, and according to Cody Gakpo, speaking on the Premier League YouTube channel, there are three players who stand above the rest.
Indeed, according to the attacker, Virgil van Dijk, Joe Gomez and Ibrahima Konate are the three players who stand above everybody else in terms of strength, even Mo Salah.

The Dutchman gave his verdict on his teammates.
“The top three strongest players?” Gakpo was asked
“I would say Virgil, Joe Gomez and Ibou Konate,” Gakpo said.
Good luck getting past them
Gakpo has named three defenders as the three strongest players at Liverpool, and it just makes you realise how difficult it must be getting past this Liverpool backline.
Not only are Van Dijk, Konate and Gomez unbelievably strong, they’re also absolutely rapid, and any attacker trying to get past them will have a long afternoon.
There’s a reason Liverpool have one of the best defensive records in the Premier League, these three have been utterly brilliant all season long, and with Gomez now shifting over to full-back, there are plenty of occasions when all three players are able to be on the same pitch at the same time.
Liverpool are one of the best footballing teams in the Premier League, but sometimes, you just can’t beat having three incredibly strong defenders guarding your box.
Jurgen Klopp always likes to have a physical squad, and he certainly has that with these three in the heart of his defence.
